I've been working in the web development space for as long as there has been one. I started in the early/mid 1990s, taught myself web development, and have been learning and evolving ever since.
I founded one of Baltimore's first pure web development shops and helped launch sites for organizations such as Johns Hopkins Oncology, MedStar Health, Voicestream (now T-Mobile), Verizon Wireless, and many others.
Since then I have worked as a senior developer as well as an executive-level director and dev team manager. I currently teach Full Stack Web Development through major universities across the U.S. through EdEx, and pursue occasional freelance projects and independent work of my own.
I have two great kids (and one granddaughter!), and I live in Baltimore, MD. In my free time I enjoy exercise and fitness, movies, books, the outdoors, and much more. I try not to spend all my time in front of a computer.
